(1) I am currently taking Introduction to Architecture at Citrus College which involves going to class for 54 lecture hours. I am required to take notes with my composition book, read two books, and complete and present a project later in the semester.
(2) First of all, my class requires 54 hours of attendance to complete and gain credit. To prove this I will print out the class catalog and my transcript to show that I completed the hours necessary. Seecond is that I will have a wide array of work that I have done in the class to bring and show to Mr. Ogden when it is deemed necessary. I will show him my test, quizes, margin noted books, project, presentation grade, and whatever else I end up with at the end of the class.
(3) My independent study component is relative to my E.Q. because my question is "What is most important when designing a structure?" So I have to study the designs of architecture throughout the eras because architecture has been around as long as there were structures which is more than several thousand years. This class teaches me about the different structures from pre-Egyptian times to modern day architecture so I will see the different styles of design that people had throughout different era's thus making it easier to see that "this" was really important to the architect 10,000 years ago and it is still important to the Architect now.
